ARTHACK

ARTHACKs are my Video interventions at public art exhibition spaces.
I visit art spaces equipped with one of my Art-Kludge-Tools, a smallish videobeamer tied together with a video-camera.

The following two short clips are my first Beam-Arthack-Interventions made in 2011 in the Galerist Hasköy Gallery, Istanbul. The exhibition was called »That's Fucking Awesome«, curated by Jerome Sans. The art works are made by the artistic duo :mentalKLINIK.

I started these interventions with pre-produced simple slogans - as an additional associative field, not knowing which art works I will hack. Even I'm not sure, whether I still like my old slogans, I really love how the spontaneous recorded details of the art works and art spaces with the gliding projection on it are melting to one new moving picture.
